A Night in Blue

A Summer Night in July

300 Guests

Passed hors d’oeuvres, passed desserts, full bar set up

Our Founding Farmers Co. Catering & Events team recently had the honor of catering Food on the Stove’s “Dress Blue Event,” a celebration dedicated to recognizing the hard work and dedication of our brave firefighters and emergency responders. This elegant, blue-themed, cocktail-style event was attended by 300 guests dressed in their finest “blue tie” attire, creating a sophisticated and heartfelt atmosphere.

Food on the Stove is a DC-based non-profit committed to increasing awareness about health and wellness within the fire service community. They provide essential tools and resources to promote healthier lifestyles among firefighters, emphasizing the importance of nutrition and overall well-being.

As guests arrived at the event, they were warmly welcomed with a complimentary drink by our friendly servers. Our experienced bartenders ensured the evening flowed smoothly, offering a selection of beer, wine, and expertly crafted signature cocktails. The highlights of the drink menu included timeless favorites such as Classic Old Fashioneds and refreshing Classic Margaritas, which were a hit among the attendees.

The evening was further enlivened by live music, complemented by our delectable passed appetizers. There was an array of mouthwatering bites, including Mini Chicken & Waffles, Fried Green Tomato Bites, Maryland Crab Cake Bites, and Garlic Black Pepper Chicken Satay.

For dessert, Founding Farmers Co. Catering & Events proudly served our scratch-made Jefferson & Glazed Donuts in a variety of delightful flavors. These sweet treats provided the perfect ending to a night filled with appreciation and celebration.

Catering the “Dress Blue Event” was not just about providing exceptional food and drink; it was about supporting heroes who selflessly serve our community. We are proud to partner with Food on the Stove and look forward to contributing to their mission of promoting health and wellness within emergency responders.
