On a warm and calm, early summer evening, the DC Chapter of Conscious Capitalism hosted a gathering of “conscious conversations” with DC-area business leaders over impeccable food & drink on the waterfront at the Wharf. An outdoor cocktail reception with plenty of refreshments and passed small bites led into the main event: a seated five-star and coursed meal complete with remarkable and inspiring speakers focused on prioritizing the support of mental health in the workplace — including two-time NBA All-Star, Roy Hibbert, Grace Aduroja-Kolker, Manager of Women's Initiatives at Williams & Connolly and Executive Coach & Facilitator, and our very own Co-Owner, Dan Simons. District Pier Catering

Guests enjoyed a beautiful cocktail reception on a balcony overlooking the Potomac River with specially crafted cocktails, mocktails, and passed hors d’oeuvres. Everyone then came inside to elegant and thoughtfully curated place settings and tables for the formal presentations and conversation. Course to course, guests savored every bite of our team’s scratch-made plates, enjoying the impeccable presentation and flavors on every dish. And no meal is complete without dessert, which is why our team went above and beyond with mini Crème Brûlée Jefferson Donuts, Key Lime Cream Pie Bites, Founding Farmers Chocolate, and more.
