About Us
Founding Farmers Co. Catering & Events specializes in bringing people together and making every celebration delicious and memorable. We are majority owned by American family farmers, which means at our core we are committed to using ingredients from farmers we know and trust and taking care of the planet and everyone on it.
With years of experience rooted in restaurant hospitality operating some of the Nation’s most popular restaurants – Founding Farmers – we have the expertise and bandwidth to help you create events that are easy, frictionless, and fun to plan from start to finish.
Our Roots
Our catering began with individual requests from regular guests in our restaurants, and we saw an opportunity to expand our hospitality beyond our bar and dining rooms. Across DC, MD, VA, and PA, we started catering office lunches and breakfast meetings, a baby shower here and there, graduation parties for some of our guest’s children, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, weddings, and private chef experiences at guest homes. Soon, we were catering for larger events with clients like Bisnow, Comstock, The Washington Nationals, and more. We started customizing new and different menus for our catering clients, while still following our scratch-made, thoughtfully sourced mission. Our team was growing and developing and starting to help with other parts of event planning beyond the food. And so, Founding Farmers Co. Catering & Events was born.
