Our latest Confirmation party was the latter, and we loved every minute of it.

When a client comes to us with a carefully curated collection of images, that mood board isn't just inspiration — it's a brief. It's a language. It tells us exactly how a space should feel when guests walk in, how the table should look before anyone sits down, and what kind of night the family is hoping to create. Our job is to translate that vision into something real, tangible, and even better than what they imagined.

Here's how we did it.

The Vision

Pinks. Golds. Feminine details layered just right. The mood board had a clear point of view from the start — celebratory and unapologetically glamorous, with a warmth that kept it from ever feeling cold or overdone.

The references pointed toward a space that felt lush and fun: draping that transformed the room, a balloon arch that made a statement, and food that was as much a part of the atmosphere as the decor. Guests enjoyed interactive stations such as a candy bar, shareable bites, and scratch-made beverages — the kind of spread that keeps people on their feet, circling back, and talking to each other.

It was a celebration built for the moment, and every detail was chosen to make the guest of honor and her guests feel it.

Bringing It Together: The Vendor Team

A celebration at this scale, with this level of detail, doesn't happen in a vacuum. It takes a trusted network of vendors who understand how to execute a cohesive vision — and who communicate well enough to make sure every element lands at the right moment. 

For this confirmation, we partnered with: 

• DJ Ray Bialek Music for the soundtrack that kept the energy exactly right from cocktail hour through the final song of the night 

• Select Event Group & Something Vintage for rentals that grounded the aesthetic in both polish and warmth 

• Fabrication Events for draping that transformed the venue into something truly immersive 

Founding Farmers Co. Catering & Events handled full service catering for all 50 guests — from grazing boards and passed appetizers to scratch-made desserts and a thoughtfully curated beverage program. 

The Food

Our skilled, catering culinary team built a menu that complemented the celebratory tone of the evening — fresh, seasonal, and made from scratch using ingredients sourced from the farmers and producers we know and trust. Majority owned by American family farmers, including the North Dakota Farmers Union, that connection to the land isn't just a talking point for us. It's in every dish we serve. It’s also one of the many reasons our catered food is better. When you source high-quality ingredients and make your food from scratch, people can taste the difference. And they did, many raving how our food wasn’t like most catered events. It was actually delicious from the starters to the sweets.  

The Finished Product

And then came the moment our team lives for: the reveal.

The difference between a mood board and a finished event is execution — and that's exactly where our team thrives. From logistics and staffing to food and beverage service, we approach every detail with the same standard of care, because an event that looks beautiful but doesn't run smoothly isn't the full picture.
