So, when we were introduced to Tranquility Farm & Winery, a 200-year-old, 70-acre private working wine estate tucked at the end of a quiet country road in Purcellville, Virginia, we recognized something familiar.

Tranquility Farm & Winery is a 200-year-old historic estate in Purcellville, Virginia exquisitely remodeled to host private events while preserving its working vineyard and winery. The property operates as an exclusive buyout; the farmhouse, the barn, the guest suites, and the sweeping vineyard views are reserved entirely for you and your guests. No shared spaces, no outside visitors.
The estate is home to two on-site wine labels: Otium, producing still wines, and Draksha, producing sparkling wines. Custom estate wine experiences and tastings are available as part of your event programming.
Tranquility Farm & Winery offers seven distinct ceremony settings, six outdoor and one indoor, and four event venues ranging from the intimate Historic Bank Barn (up to 125 seated guests) to the dramatic Glass Manor at the Silo (up to 300 seated guests). Overnight accommodations across the Manor House, Vineyard Cottage, and Grüner Bungalow can host up to 34 guests, with additional tented glamping options available.

We craft truly scratch-made cuisine using ingredients thoughtfully sourced directly from American family farmers and producers we know and trust. This means we make all of our bread, pasta, pastries and desserts, specialty Founding Farmers Chocolates, preserves, nut butters, dressings, and sauces, as well as all beverage mixers and syrups, zero-proof cocktails, and scratch sodas. It also means a best-in-class beverage program anchored by Founding Spirits, our very own DC-based distillery, alongside estate wines from Otium and Draksha, zero-proof cocktails, and scratch sodas.
Every menu is customized to the occasion, the guests, and the season. Weddings, corporate retreats, social celebrations, welcome dinners, farewell brunches — we can support the full weekend of programming, not just the main event.
